Many of you will remember when Dr. Nandedkar's 15 year old non-verbal autistic son, Bryn, was very ill from a drug reaction. In despair, she wrote the song with Michael Fath called "Bryn's Song: The Puzzle" to describe the puzzling nature of his illness. Proceeds from the song went to "Canine Partner's for Life", an organization that matches therapy dogs with adults and children with special needs. She and Bryn applied for a dog two years ago and now the wait is finally over. This April of 2017, Bryn gets to go to Pennsylvania to meet his dog, Saki. Canine Partners carefully matched Saki with Bryn. Saki is a two year old male black lab who has been trained for Bryn. We are hoping he will help Bryn communicate more effectively. Bryn is now 18 and ready for the responsibility of a dog. Of course, we'll help too! Who couldn't love this dog? To all the patients who have supported me and Bryn through thick and thin, I give a heartfelt thank you! To Canine Partner's for Life, thank you for helping Bryn!
We can each make the world a better place, one by one....
Thanks to all of you!
