Note: Chemical peels are a misnomer. Most
solutions are made of natural ingredients
that deeply exfoliate the damaged surface
cells and force new healthy skin to grow.
As we age, our cells turnover more slowly.
So to keep a more youthful appearance,
regular exfoliation helps to remove the
unwanted tired cells and replace them with
healthy skin cells. Peels are the most cost
effective way to improve the texture of
your skin.
Dr. Nandedkar carries several types of cosmetic products that allow
you to do your own mini peels at home. These do not replace the
in-office peel, which provides deeper exfoliation. Home peels are
designed to maintain the effect of an in-office peel.
